Milososki: SPO are calling members of VMRO-DPMNE to give false statements by blackmailing them

The Special Public Prosecutor’s Office has once again demonstrated that they are the extended arm of the SDSM, Antonio Milososki of the VMRO-DPMNE accused the opposition yesterday at a press conference. He said that in recent days the SPO had changed its style of work and from reading ordered press releases and charges against members of the VMRO-DPMNE, have now shifted to the next phase of calling as many members of the VMRO-DPMNE to give statements, testimony or statements under pressure or blackmail.

“Such attempts by the SPO to call the largest possible number of members of the VMRO-DPMNE and forcing them to give any false statements or statements, they will not get away with such actions and they will not manage to intimidate or discourage members of the VMRO-DPMNE. Members from Katica Janeva’s team are using the same illegal methods, blackmail and false promises, and are trying to persuade and force citizens to distance themselves from the VMRO-DPMNE into giving false statements. Often, Janeva’s prosecutors tell those they have summoned from the VMRO-DPMNE: “No one will thank-you, if you do not give an appropriate statement, be smart now, and you will be called as a witness for the SPO, otherwise, next time you will be called as a defendant, they will not look after your family, we will help you if you give us a good statement that the prosecution can use”, Milososki said.

Milososki said the party had faced in the past more severe pressure and had surpassed greater challenges and have come out stronger and more united, and will do so this time.

“The legal team of the VMRO-DPMNE will help all who are subject to any blackmail, threats or pressure from the SPO. In the upcoming period, the SPO will summon a greater number of members and activists of the VMRO-DPMNE and we urge you all to act in accordance with the law, and not to succumb to pressure that you might experience with the SPO, and to report any wrongdoing”, said Milososki.
