Migrants threw stones at police and military over the building of the fence on the border with Greece

Revolted by the wired fence on the border with Greece, a group of migrants who are not allowed entry into the country began throwing stones at members of the military who have been working on the installation of concrete poles and the fence, at the length of three kilometres, reports TV “Telma”.

According to “Telma” police reacted immediately, after which there was a clash with a group of approximately 100 migrants.

Unofficially, according to the television station, in the incident four policemen were injured.

At the border with Greece, the Minister of Defence Zoran Jolevski was present as he was overseeing the activities for raising of the wire fence.
