MFA urges Macedonia citizens currently in Turkey to remain in safe locations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated they are closely following the situation in Turkey and are in constant contact with the Macedonian Embassy in Ankara and the General Consulate in Istanbul.

The MFA have urged all Macedonian nationals currently in Turkey to remain in safe locations, not to leave their hotels or accommodation and to avoid gatherings in public places.

“All enquiries regarding the safety of Macedonian citizens who are currently in Turkey, please use the telephone hotlines to contact diplomatic offices in Ankara and Istanbul or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs”, said a statement from the MFA.
