Metamorphosis Foundation is organizing online event “Dialogues for the Digital Agenda”

On the 30th of October, starting at 11 AM on the ZOOM online platform, the Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society will organize an online event titled “Dialogues for the Digital Agenda” which is a part of the “Increasing Civic Engagement in the Digital Agenda – ICEDA” project and is co-financed by the European Union. It is implemented in 6 states (North Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania, and Estonia).

The event will consist of a brief presentation of the project and the ICEDA network, the Digital Agenda for the Western Balkans and the presentation of the research conducted within the Observatory of the Digital Agenda in North Macedonia conducted by the Metamorphosis Foundation within the project. The event will serve to develop a discussion on the benefits and challenges of implementing the Digital Agenda in today’s context in North Macedonia, which will result in conclusions that the Metamorphosis Foundation will take into account while implementing its further activities.

Speakers at the event are expected to be Jeton Shaqiri – Minister of Information Society and Administration, Bardhyl Jashari – Executive Director of the Metamorphosis Foundation, Mila Josifovska Danilovska – Program Manager of Social Accountability and Human Rights Online at the Metamorphosis Foundation, Prof. Vladimir Petkovski – Faculty of Economics, Skopje, Goran Kolevski – Adviser to the Director for protection of end user rights at Agency for electronic communications, Representative of the European Union in the Republic of North Macedonia, a representative of the Agency for Electronic Communications, and a representative of the Ministry of Information Society and Administration.

All interested parties are invited to fill out the registration form.

In order to follow the event it is necessary to follow this link, and due to the needs of the project, the event will be recorded. The recording will be part of the project archive and will not be made public.

Upon completion of the event, all registered participants will receive links that will lead to the conducted research and prepared visualizations (in Macedonian, Albanian and English), through which they can further obtain more information on the current state of implementation of the Digital Agenda in North Macedonia and use the information appropriately in their research or articles.
