If no agreement is reached on the name issue, the dialogue is conducted between the political leaders will have no meaning. This was stated by DPA leader Menduh Thaci at the anniversary of the party, within which the opposition DPA organized a dinner according to Ramadan fasting.
– We heard that two political parties, VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM, denied that we have discussed the name issue during the leadership meetings. Once again I repeat, if we do not resolve the name issue, this whole dialogue that is sponsored by the international community would have no meaning. I urge everyone to see the second point of the agreement from Przhino, where we all strive the European integration process of Macedonia to progress – said Thaci.
In his speech, he wished the opposition NDP and BESA much success in their further political engagement.
– We have nothing against they having opposition engagement and I am ready to talk with them and to sit down with all others who think that in order to change the situation of the Albanians, we should all together vote against DUI and Ali Ahmeti in April next year – said Thaci.
DPA leader Menduh Thaci added that Macedonia is sinking into deep political crisis and the issue of Albanians is still not resolved after 14 years since the signing of the Framework Agreement.
