Macedonia on the EU agenda this week

In the following days, Macedonia will be present on the European agenda. With the expected conclusion that should be adopted tomorrow by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister’s participation on a meeting of the European Commission regarding transport policy in the region and the third round of negotiations between the government and opposition in the European Parliament, this week it will be enriched with the developments for country in the EU.

PM Gruevski will tomorrow participate in a meeting organized by the European Commissioner for accession negotiations Johannes Hahn and his colleague for transport Violeta Bulz, dedicated to the transport network of the Western Balkans. The meeting will be attended by all six prime ministers from the region.

At the same time, in Luxembourg, the foreign ministers of the EU are set to adopt a critical conclusion for Macedonia, which expresses serious concern about the political situation in the country and an investigation for the recordings published by the opposition is requested, learns META.

During this week, it is not known exactly which day exactly, will be scheduled third round of negotiations between VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM in the European Parliament which, with the help of three European intermediaries, MPs Ivo Vajgl, Edward Kukan and Richard Howitt, both sides are trying to find a solution out of the political crisis.
