Macedonian State Administration will take part in a clean-up action on the 14th of December

On the 14th of December over 40.000 employees in the Macedonian state administration will take part in a massive clean up action in the capital and the throughout the state. The administrative workers will be cleaning public spaces in the period from 9am till noon. Health workers, teachers and nursemaids will be cleaning the yards of the institutions where they work, informed the Minister of Information Society and Public Administration Damjan Manchevski at today’s press conference.

The administrative workers will join the initiative “Don’t be a garbage” which goal is t clean the cities from waste. The government has formed a work group for a successful implementation of the action. Minister Manchevski stressed that necessary tools and mechanization will be provided at the locations they will be needed.

-This will be a massive cleaning action that we plan to become traditional where the employees at state institutions will help in preserving the living environment – said Minister Damjan Manchevski.

It is expected many citizens to take part in and the cleaning will happen at several locations in Skopje including other cities throughout the country.
