Various cheeses from the Mavrovo- Reka region, honey, sweet wild figs, “Stanushina” wine and Bukovska pepper will the five products Macedonia will present at the event “Terra Madre Balkans 2016” which starts today and ends on June 5 in Tirana, Albania.
Apart from the presentation of specific organic food from all the countries in the region, several topics will be discussed related to food at the event.
In the Macedonian delegation of 33 representatives, 10 are manufacturers, and at the educational workshops for taste and nutrition, students from the “Lazar Tanev” Secondary School will be participating.
The event will bring together 250 delegates from 12 different countries all in one place.
