Macedonian government approves 86.000 euros for the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services to monitor the elections in the media

During the 10th session, the Government approved assets for the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services for monitoring the elections reporting in the media.

“At the session, the Government adopted the decision to approve assets from the budget in the amount of 5.277.000 denars (85.805 euros) for the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, in order to monitor the election activities during 2020” informs the government’s press release.

AT the moment, a registration process of radio and TV broadcasters, printed media and internet portals at SEC, if they are providing paid political advertising for the participants in the election campaign for the snap parliamentary elections.
