During one of its last sessions, the government has been analyzing the information on starting a procedure for public procurement of services for preparing the national version of EU’s acquis – written translation of EU laws, national laws, other documents of importance for the process of EU accession and translation of other materials for the needs of the Secretariat for European Affairs, by concluding a Framework agreement in a period of three years in order to produce a better quality preparation for the national version of the EU’s Acquis.
The Government agreed to take over the financial obligations which will be paid through the budget use of budgetary assets from the Secretariat of European Affairs budget for the forthcoming 2020 and 2021. The assets are needed for the acquisition of services for preparing the national version of EU’s law – written translation of EU articles, national articles, other documents of importance for the process of EU accession and written translation of other materials for the needs of the Secretariat for European Affairs, by concluding a Framework agreement in a period of three years in order to produce a better quality preparation for the national version of the EU’s Acquis in the amount of 47.457.628 denars without VAT or around 771.000 евра.
Out of the total sum, 13.559.322 denars are planned for 2019, 16.949.153 denars in 2020 and 16.949.153 denars in 2021.
The Secretariat of European Affairs is tasked to inform the Government each six months about the course and the progress of this issue until the final realization of the acquisition” concludes the government.
