Lost votes are the third political force in Macedonia!

-

According to 99.72% of counted ballots, official data from the State Election Commission reported that from the total of 1,189,481 voters who voted, 37,812 ballots were invalid.

The number of invalid ballots is greater than the number of votes received for seven of the eleven coalitions participating in the Macedonian elections.

VMRO-DPMNE won most of the votes received, followed by SDSM, DUI and Besa, and behind them, is the invalid number of ballots.

The number of invalid ballots and the number of votes received by the parties who did not win any seats, is nearly 100,000.

The Coalition for Change and Justice won 10,083 votes, PDP – 1,142, Liberal Party – 3,840, VMRO for Macedonia – 24,449 and Levica – 12,119. Among all the constituencies, none of these coalitions won enough votes to win seats.

The total number of votes for non-parliamentary parties is 51,633, or triple the difference from the two major parties, VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM, which is 16,240 votes.

All together, the votes of the coalitions that did not win any seats and the number of invalid ballots is 89,445, ranking the lost votes third behind the number of votes received by VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM.
