Association of Private Practitioners of Macedonia does not agree with the decision of Maja Parnadzhieva-Zmejkova, Director of the Health Insurance Fund, who today resigned. They say that her resignations will result with serious consequences in primary health care, however, the Government has the final word, which will decide whether to accept the resignations of two directors of the Health Insurance Fund.
– Director and her team are the people who have always adored this portfolio and stated that family doctors are the backbone of the health system. We, as medical industry, have arranged many projects and negotiations that are not completed and I think that the resignation will contribute to negative and tectonic shifts in our relations – said Dervishova, representative of the Association.
Economic director of HIF Xhemaili Mehazi also submitted his resignation.
