Following a short delay of 40 minutes, the leader’s meeting at the MPs Clubhouse between the four largest political parties, all signatories to the Przino Agreement, began.
The VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski was the last to arrive, and entered through a rear entrance to the MPs Clubhouse so as to avoid waiting reporters. He was welcomed by Aleksander Georgiev, a government spokesman.
Also at the meeting, along with Gruevski from the VMRO-DPMNE who attended was Nikola Todorov, the Minister of Health.
Representatives from the SDSM party included the party leader Zoran Zaev, Vice President Radmila Sekerinska and Renata Deskovska.
From the DPA party, the party leader Menduh Thaci and Imer Aliu, while the interests of the DUI party will be represented by the party leader Ali Ahmeti, and also Artan Grubi.
The meeting will also be attended by the US Ambassador to Macedonia Jess Baily, along with two representatives from the EU Delegation to Skopje.
At today’s long-awaited meeting, the party leaders will review conditions agreed on from July 20, and whether those conditions have been met in full, and most importantly of al, the leader’s will decide if there will be elections in December.
