Law on public prosecution will be passed under an expedited procedure at the Parliament

-

The Law on public prosecution that will solve the future status of the Special Public Prosecution (SPO) is on today’s agenda of the 108th Parliamentary session.

The law will enter into a parliamentary procedure with a European flag and under an expedited procedure.

Yesterday, the Minister of Justice Renata Deskoska said there is no progress in the negotiations about the law, after the meeting of the working groups.

We talked about the issues that were open since the very start among which is the status of the cases led by SPO. The key unsurmountable difference refers to this very issue. The other side wishes these cases not to end unfavorably. Our red lines state that justice has to be done regardless of who will finish it – stressed Deskoska.
