Last week 6 children and 21 employees in kindergartens in North Macedonia tested positive for COVID-19 and 309 are in self-isolation

Since the kindergartens were reopened, 18 children and 55 employees have tested positive for COVID-19, and it he period between 9th and 16th of October, there were 6 children and 21 employees who were registered positive. It is evident that the number of infected is on the rise, stressed today the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Jagoda Shahpaska.

She stressed that the condition of the sick children and the employees is good and no one is hospitalized. As she stressed, they will be monitoring the epidemiological situation and together with the Health Ministry and other institutions, decisions will be made regarding whether the kindergartens will be closed or not.
