Last day of debate on the re-balance budget and tomorrow the session for Zvrlevski’s dismissal

-

Today MPs will debate on the revised budget at the plenary session in Parliament, scheduled for 13:00 pm.

MPs from VMRO-DPMNE believe that the way it is projected, the budget re-balance will not allow any increase in the economy and there will hardly be a 2.2% increase in the domestic gross product. They predict that by the end of the year there will be another budget re-balance.

They also consider that the re-balance will not bring higher salaries, pensions, subsidies and a higher standard for citizens, and at their expense there is the construction of migrant camps.

The Government considers that with the budget re-balance, money will be cut from unproductive costs and directed towards citizens and companies. Representatives of the parliamentary majority say that old debts will have to be repaid, as the previous government borrowed loans with high interest rates.

The proposal for the dismissal of the Attorney General, Marko Zvrlevski will be on the agenda of tomorrow’s session in Parliament.

If the proposal for the dismissal of Zvrlevski is passed at the session on Monday, the next day MPs will leave for their vacations. If the hearing is delayed, a majority of MPs have announced that they will give up their vacations until Zvrlevski is dismissed.
