Asked for reaction on the press – conference of Zoran Zaev in which he announced that negotiations are unsuccessful, the European Commission, through its spokeswoman Maja Kocijanchik, stated for META:
“Our position is quite clear: we urgent call on the parties to find a compromise in the interest of the country and the citizens. Agreement of 2nd of June offers the necessary basis, and remains a major issue to be negotiated. There is no time to waste,” said Kocijanchik.
The issue that remains to be negotiated is probably the composition of the transitional government. Zaev didn’t specify whether he still considers the agreement of 2nd of June as valid, but only announced continuation of the bombs, which stopping was one of the items in the agreement of 2nd of June.
