MOI didn’t even hear and doesn’t know anything about the press conference of opposition leader Zoran Zaev, on which recordings of politicians from the opposition and the Government were published, said MOI spokesman Ivo Kotevski for “Nova TV”.
– I was reading from the news agencies, but I didn’t see nor hear anything because I was not invited to the press conference – said Kotevski.
He stressed that they have hard evidence of six suspects in action “Puch” and that Zaev is the fourth suspect. MOI conducts serious investigation for all that they did which must be carried out to the end.
– We do not know whether the presented material is an evidence of some sort. MOI hasn’t received any criminal charges. We will act on the orders of the Public Prosecution, including Zaev’s press conference, if the prosecution requests that from us. A serious court case is led against Zaev, as the fourth suspect, as well as against the other five. A thorough investigation is conducted, in which they are accused of offenses against the state, of espionage and violence against high officials. Part of the evidence against Zaev and the other suspects is provided and it is handed over to the Public Prosecution – said Kotevski.
