Congress of VMRO-DPMNE, which was originally announced for 9th of May, was rescheduled one week earlier “due to strategic and security reasons,” learns META.
VMRO-DPMNE officially denies that the relocation of the Congress for 2nd and 3rd of May was related to the announced protests of the opposition.
– The date of the Congress is determined by the Central Committee. Its holding has nothing to do with the announced protests of the opposition – stated Aleksandar Bichikliski from VMRO-DPMNE.
Fifteenth congress of VMRO-DPMNE will take place on Saturday and Sunday in Kumanovo, and it will be attended by 560 delegates, elected on different grounds.
The party president should be elected on this congress, and the deadline for submitting application is until Friday 3 pm at the party headquarters of VMRO-DPMNE in Skopje.
Applications are submitted with the support of at least 30 delegates.
