“Prevention of violent extremism and radicalization that leads to terrorism” is the theme of the national conference which will be held today with the support of the OSCE Mission in Skopje.
The aim of the conference is to strengthen the capacity of police officers in the fight against extremism, and to raise awareness about the benefits of the application of techniques of police work in cooperation with the community, as a way to overcome the challenges of violent extremism.
At the conference the head of the OSCE Mission to Skopje, Ambassador Nina Suomalainen will hold a presentation as well as representatives from the Ministry of Interior.
