Vladimir Taleski
Taleski is in his third term as head of the Municipality of Bitola. He is well known Macedonian actor, remembered as “dvojche” of the children show “Hello geniuses” in which he starred alongside the current mayor of the Municipality of Kisela Voda, Biljana Belichanec.
In the conversations, Minister Stavreski tells Jankulovska for corruption scandal initiated by Bitola mayor for who he claims that is a hard core criminal. According to the conversation, Taleski contracted with “Traskop” for ten times higher prices, but nevertheless sought to recover some of the budgetary costs in the municipality, although at the time he had surplus money on the account.
Except in the conversations between Stavreski and Jankulovska, Taleski is tied to quite a few scandals, such as apartments he owns were a long time topic of conversation among councilors in the municipality.
Dane Kuzmanovski
Previously he was a partner in the sports betting “Bundes Sport” and several Skopje restaurants, and he also appears as a director in the new company.
Kuzmanovski is a former director of the zoo in Skopje in the period from 2008 to 2011. As a child, he borrowed his voice of the son of Popeye (Kiko) in the cartoon and has behind him several other theater roles.
Previously he was a partner in the sports betting “Bundes Sport” and is now Director of the State Lottery, and, according to the report of “Nova TV” he is also registered as director of the company “Company for organizing lotteries Casinos Austria International LLC”.
For Kuzmanovski, Stavreski says to Jankulovska that “he helped the bastard a hundred times so far”.
Mile Janakieski
The current Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski graduated from high school in Prilep and continued his education at the American College of Thessaloniki, where he graduated from management, business administration. The first work experience in the Government was as associate in the Department of International Cooperation, and he was also a chief of staff of the Minister of Finance (2002), chief of staff of the president of VMRO-DMNE (2004), Director General of Public Enterprise “Water and sewage “(2004-2005), and from 2006, he is Minister of Transport and Communications.
The last thing he was accused by the press and public was renting a family house in Prilep to German company to which tenders were awarded. Then Janakieski justified that the company found the house through an advertisement that was posted on A4 paper to the front door of the house. Same period, Janakieski was linked to the scandal with the company that received assignments to clear snow from city streets without tenders. The rumor was that the owner of that company is a close relative of Janakieski. Few months ago, Minister of Transport and Communications, was publicly mocked that he keeps framed spades in his cabinet. Over the past few days, Janakieski is mentioned in public because of the conversations (recordings from tapping) with Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski in which they agree how and when to demolish the building “Cosmos”, owned by their political opponent Fijat Canovski.
In talks between Stavreski and Jankulovska, Janakieski is also mentioned as the man from whom Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski sought to sign a contract with a Chinese company to build a highway without previously announced tender.
Aivo Orav
At the list of favorite unwanted personalities of Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski, according to recordings of tapped conversations, was the head of the EU Delegation in Macedonia Aivo Orav.
He was Ambassador of Estonia to Turkey, Azerbaijan, Lebanon and Syria, and has a long career in the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Kire Bozhinovski
Kire Bozhinovski is the man through who Stavreski was trying to push Vladimir Taleski, Mayor of Bitola, for corruption scandal involving the transportation of students. Bozhinovski is a former Secretary General of VMRO-DPMNE and current Secretary General of the Government. Early last year, Bozhinovski was targeted by opposition SDSM, because, as they said, he failed to report an apartment on the name of his mother.
Valentina Bozhinovska
As Stavreski said in his conversation with Jankuloska, he was reprimanded by the boss because he failed to find the money for Bozhinovska to pay the bills for heating.
Bozhinovska is an actress and politician and currently the Director of the Commission for relations with religious communities and religious groups. From 1998 to 2002 and from 2006 to 2008, she was twice a member of the Assembly, and from 2005 to 2006 she was an Advisor in the City of Skopje.
Koce Trajanovski
Second term Mayor of Skopje and former Mayor of the Municipality of Gazi Baba.
Among the citizens, Trajanovski is considered as a man of the people and respected person in his party (VMRO-DPMNE), but, according to conversations yesterday announced by Zoran Zaev, apparently Trajanovski was not the most favorite person in the party.
Stavreski and Jankulovska said that the city father supports all “shady activities”.
While discussing Bitola Mayor and his, as Stavreski says, corrupt activities, say that Taleski sought support from Koce Trajanovski, who is also President of ZELS.
“Koce supports all those shade activities and just wants to set you up” – says Jankuloska.
