Journalist Tomislav Kezharovski, who was transferred from house arrest to prison Skopje last week to serve the prison sentence determined by the Court of Appeal was released this morning g by a decision of suspension of sentence.
As he said in a phone interview, Kezharovski was discharged for a month and has to report back to the prison “Skopje” on 18th of February.
– I received a decision for suspension of the sentence on account of poor health. The decision for the release was proposed by the warden of the prison “Skopje” – Kezharovski told us.
However, the protest of journalists and journalists’ organizations, scheduled for noon today in front of the Court of Appeal Skopje, is not canceled by this.
– The previously scheduled protest stands. The protest will be held – stated Naser Selmani, president of AJM.
