There will be a trial for “Puch”, court approves charges

-

Council for reviewing the indictment of the criminal court in Skopje fully approved the charges for case “Puch” and also rejected the objections of the defense of the accused, including the opposition leader Zoran Zaev, as unfounded, announced today Basic Court Skopje 1.

“The Council finds that cases which are the subject of the indictment are crimes envisaged in the Criminal Code and evidence in favor of the prosecution was submitted. At the same time, the Council took into consideration that the defense filed an extensive list of evidence and oral explanation of the objections and a partial defense of the accused, on which the Council submits another argument in favor of the decision to schedule a public, main and oral hearing, on which, in contradictory procedure, matters subject to examination and assessment of the main hearing, will be settled,” reads the court statement.

They added that “after the deployment of the indictment to the competent judge, the date for the main hearing will be scheduled.”
