Kancheska-Milevska to be coordinator of new parliamentary group

Eight MPs from VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition who voted in favour of starting the process of constitutional change, have put forward an official request to parliament speaker Talat Xhaferi on Friday, to form a new parliamentary group.

Xhaferi informed coordinators from parliamentary groups at the regular coordinative meeting on Monday, that Elizabeta Kancheska-Milevska is to be the coordinator of “Independent MPs from VMRO-DPMNE and the Coalition For a Better Macedonia”.

The new parliamentary group should officially begin work from next Monday.

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and foreign and justice ministers, Nikola Dimitrov and Renata Deskoska, will meet with MPs from the new parliamentary group in the afternoon. At the meeting they will discuss the conditions, ie the guidelines given by the eight MPs in a letter before the vote for the opening of the Constitution, as well as the possibility of incorporating these guidelines into the constitutional amendments.

Along side Elizabeta Kancheska-Milevska, other members of the new parliamentary group are Vladanka Avirovik, Zekir Ramkilovic, Emilija Aleksandrova, Nola Ismajloska Starova, Krsto Mukoski, Sasho Vasilevski, Ljuben Arnaudov.
