The European Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn sent a letter to the leaders of the four parties which are signatories to the Przhino Agreement Nikola Gruevski, Zoran Zaev, Ali Ahmeti and Menduh Thaci, reports Alsat-M.
According to diplomatic sources, the International Community is insisting on a new meeting after the failed meeting in Vienna.
“The parties have to reopen dialogue necessary to find a compromise to a solution. To implement all reforms to cleanse the voters’ list along with reforms in the media. The elections are expected to be comprehensive … ” was the content of the letter sent from Brussels by EU Ambassador to Macedonia Aivo Orav.
The political parties, for television had no comment on the contents of the letter where the Commissioner requested a softening of attitudes and compromise to get out of the political crisis.
They have not denied that they received such a letter, however they say that it was addressed to those subjects who withdrew from the political agreement, which they blame each other for.
