We discussed the problems we faced in the past, said Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva after meeting with European Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, today at the EU Info-Centre in Skopje.
Janeva said she was pleased with the conversation.
“We talked about how we will function in the future and how we will continue with our activities”, said the Special Prosecutor.
She said she hoped that before Parliament dissolved, they will adopt the laws to facilitate the work of the SPO.
When asked whether she had discussed with EU Commissioner Hahn the formation of a special court department within the Basic Court Skopje 1, Janeva replied that they did not discuss that subject during their 45-minute meeting.
At the moment, Hahn is talking to the leader of the DPA Menduh Thaci. Earlier, the Commissioner talked with representatives of NGOs and Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev.
