Janeva makes a move on Verushevski sentence

Katica Janeva as Special Prosecutor in charge of the Prosecution part of the proceedings in the case “Putsch”, among other things, will have to explain and after the incarceration and other measures to ensure that they are certain of the defendants in the case, among them the leader of the SDSM, Zoran Zaev and the former Director of the Administration for Security and Counterintelligence (ASC), Zoran Verushevski.

Angele Ilievski one of the Defense Lawyers said for “Meta” that Katica Janeva received the material and case files from the “Putsch” case over a week ago, and is now under her responsibility and jurisdiction.
According Mr Ilievski, Ms Janeva can make a request to the court to revoke the detainment, and substitute it with another punishment, more lenient or she could request an extension. The same applies to measures to ensure that they are certain of the other defendants.

For Mr Verushevski, whose lawyer is Angele Ilievski says his detainment is decided every month. The last 30 days were passed on the 27th of September and were immediately postponed for another 30 days, but, according to Mr Ilievski, it does not necessarily mean anything in this case because, as he says, the Special Prosecutor may in the meantime file for discontinuation or make a replacement with another act.

The defendants in the “Putsch” affair according to the Prosecution, are charged with offenses; Espionage, unauthorized wire-tapping, audio recording and violence against representatives of the highest state authorities.
