Janeva orders investigation into the “bombs” from “El Cheka”

-

Today, Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva announced that she has issued a warrant for an investigation into the “bombs” that were published in recent days on the Facebook profile called “El Cheka”, emphasizing that there was no information where they were acquired from.

“I have issued a warrant for an investigation into the “bombs” and the hard disc in order to determine the duration and to identify these conversations”, Janeva told the Fifth Session of Working Group 3 of the Judiciary and Fundamental Rights – Chapter 23 of the National Convention on the European Union, held at the MPs Clubhouse.

Janeva stressed that IT experts are analyzing the “bombs”, most of which are in Albanian and have to be translated.

When asked whether they were the same “bombs” that the SPO have in their possession, Janeva said that part of them are. She added that she could not guarantee that the bombs came from the SPO, as at this moment the investigation is ongoing.
