Janchev: I receive death threats, Mickoski assures me they’re not from VMRO-DPMNE

-

The current vice-president of VMRO-DPMNE and current Mayor of Kavadarci, Mitko Janchev, did not appear on last night’s “TV 24” because he and his wife received death threats if he appeared on the show. After, he explained what happened.

“For the last month we have been constantly receiving threats through Facebook and text messages. Today, we received a threat on my wife’s phone and this is the reason I want to stay with my family tonight. I have reported it to the police. Before the referendum, I received threats that if I go out and I quote: Janchev’s father appeared to him in a dream and told him that if he votes they will be seeing each other very soon. My father died in 2005. It seems to me that the Facebook profiles are fake bots, and the mobile numbers I received the text messages from have been reported, so I expect them to be uncovered. I’ve talked to Mickoski about and just 5 minutes ago, he assured me that it has nothing to do with him or VMRO-DPMNE. I would like to believe it. I want my family to function normally,” said Janchev.
