The former Mayor of the Municipality of Karpos, Stevco Jakimovski, today at a press conference accused the police of “under the leadership of Zoran Zaev” violently burst into the Municipality of Karpos while his colleagues packed their personal belongings.
He said that someone had told the employees of the Municipality that the transfer of the mayor’s office would take place today and that they were packing items from Jakimovski’s cabinet.
The former mayor emphasized that all the documents that are important for local self-government are in the archive and added that the municipality has an electronic archive.
The event was also confirmed by the Ministry of Interior, and they stated that they had received information that documents from the Municipality were being removed from the premises.
