Ivona Talevska received a two year suspended sentence in the Tifani case

The Criminal Court in Skopje gave a two year suspended sentence if in the next four years she doesn’t repeat or commit another crime.

According to the verdict, Talevska will have to return the whole sum for which she was charged in the Tifani case by the Special Public Prosecutor, and additionally, she will have to pay 76.000 denars for expenses. Talevska will have to pay an additional sum in the amount of 1000 euros as an additional damage in a time period of 30 days.

Talevska has a right to an appeal in a period of 15 days.

At the first hearing from the Tifani process, this journalist admitted that she was evading paying taxes for which she SPO pressed charges against her.
