President Gjorge Ivanov will address MPs in Parliament next Tuesday (December 26th) at noon.

It is the regular annual speech of the president of the country in front of Parliament, as anticipated by the Constitution of the country.

“In accordance with Article 85, paragraph 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia, I would like to address the representatives of the Republic of Macedonia and to inform them about certain issues within my obligations. Please allow me to do so on December 26th, 2017 (Tuesday) at 12 o’clock”, reads the request from Ivanov sent to Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferi.

According to Article 85 of the Constitution, “the President of the Republic shall inform Parliament about issues within his obligations at least once a year. Parliament may request from the President of the Republic an opinion on matters within his competence.”
