Today the President of Macedonia, Gjorge Ivanov, accompanied by his wife, Maya Ivanova, will visit the Vatican City State and the Republic of Italy.
President Ivanov on Saturday will have an audience with the Head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, and will meet with Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
During their visit to the Vatican, the wife of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Maja Ivanova will visit the Children’s Hospital “Bambino Gesu” which works with the Paediatric Clinic in Skopje.
During the visit of the Republic of Italy, the President of Macedonia, Gjorge Ivanov will also meet with Italian President, Sergio Mattarella.
