President Ivanov is in an official visit to Turkey on the occasion of the participation of the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit of the “Marmara” Foundation in Istanbul, accompanied by his wife Maja Ivanova.
He addressed at the opening ceremony of the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit, and will also have his address on the session of presidents on the topic “Road to Peace: Where is humanity directed?”.
The Eurasian Economic Summit features current and former presidents, prime ministers, ministers, prominent figures from the social and political life, NGO sector and the business communities of about 40 countries.
On the sidelines of the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit, President Ivanov met with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
The two interlocutors exchanged views and information on several current topics of mutual interest, as well as the latest developments related to our church.
