Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov and his wife Maja Ivanova attended the inauguration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Ivanov’s office said that he congratulated Erdoğan on the victory and success he achieved in the early presidential and parliamentary elections and wished him a successful presidency.
Ivanov thanked Erdoğan for Turkey’s previous support and expressed confidence that the friendship and cooperation between the two countries will continue in the upcoming period.
At a ceremony held in Ankara’s presidential palace, President Erdoğan gave a speech, after he was sworn in by the Turkish Parliament. The ceremony was attended by 22 presidents of states and 28 prime ministers, parliament speakers and ministers.
