Macedonia has the worst healthcare system in Europe, with 35.12 index points and France has the best, with 82.58 points. Business Insider published results from the research done by the independent research center Numbeo based in Serbia.
Numbeo combines local data with the unique health protection Index and that brings the figures that describe the healthcare system for each country.
After France, countries with the best healthcare systems are Malta, Denmark, Austria and Cyprus. Besides Macedonia, the last five places include Iceland, Romania, Belarus and Ukraine.
Globally, Japan ranks best with 87.07 points and is followed by Bahrain and Taiwan. France is fourth.
Macedonia ranks at 100 on that index, followed by Vietnam, Iraq, Mongolia, Azerbaijan and Honduras.
