The cinemas, theaters, and other facilities where cultural events take place, will be opened again and they will work in accordance with the protocols for organizing the events that were adopted by the Government of North Macedonia. Following the recommendations, the open-air events must be organized with 50% occupancy of the location’s capacity and a limit of up to 1.000 visitors.
Indoor cultural events will take place only with 30% occupancy of the locations’ capacities
Personal protection such as face masks will be obligatory for all visitors and all of the organization’s team members and keeping physical distance will be the prerogative. The audience’s attendance will be regulated with marked seats placed with a distance of 1.5 to 2 meters, and the standing and grouping of visitors are banned.
The Government appeals to the citizens that these recommendations are not intended for private parties and gatherings, but refer exclusively to cinemas, theaters, ballet and opera shows, film screenings, concerts, multimedia projects, festivals, and other cultural events.
