In the past 24 hours, 118 new COVID-19 cases were registered and 1.363 tests were conducted, informs the Health Ministry of North Macedonia. New cases were reported in Skopje (55), Kumanovo (9), Tetovo (20) while in Gevgelija, Debar, Bitola, Shtip, Sveti Nikole and Kichevo, each has 1 patient registered, Gostivar (4) and Resen (5).
The Institute for Public Health registered 74 recovered patients and 4 died.
Four patients have died at the “8th of September” hospital – a patient (58) hospitalized on the 9th of June, a patient (73) hospitalized on the 26th of May, patient (73) hospitalized on the 22nd of June. A patient (72) died on the 21st of June, and he was confirmed positive today, post-mortem.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 5,311 confirmed COVID-19 cases while the number of recovered patients is 2,048. The death toll is 251 and the current number of active cases is 3.012″ informs the ministry.
