In his conversation with Zaev, Pence congratulated the processes of the new government for democracy

Yesterday evening, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, spoke over the telephone with US Vise President Mike Pence, who welcomed the processes from the new government, such as democracy, freedom and justice in Macedonia, stated the Government’s cabinet.

“Vice President Pence described the new Government’s steps such as good neighborly relations as international success. Vice President Pence supported the “3-6-9” plan, which was adopted by the Government to implement reform priorities. The American Vice President also sent US President Donald Trump and his administration best regards to Zoran Zeav, the new Government and the Macedonian people”, reported the Prime Minister’s Cabinet.

Prime Minister Zaev, expressed gratitude for the support which the Republic of Macedonia has received from the United States in all important processes for the country, and the realization of the strategic goals, integration into NATO and the EU.

“Zaev noted that Monte Negro’s membership in NATO is encouraging for the whole region and that the Republic of Macedonia with strong determination to implement the necessary reforms, hopes to become the next member of the Alliance. The conversation between the President of the Macedonian Government, Zoran Zaev, and Vice President, Mike Pence, developed into a sincere and friendly atmosphere. The American Vice President and Prime Minister Zaev expressed positive expectations from the upcoming meeting, which should take place at the beginning of August in Podgorica”, stated the Government cabinet.
