Around 600 to 700 migrants from the thousands who have been stranded at the camp in Idomeni for the last ten days on the Greek side of the border, this afternoon managed to illegally cross the border into Macedonia and arrived at the village of Moin near Gevgelija, confirmed the Ministry of iInterior for “Meta”.
They added that the group were detained by police and are currently taking measures to return the migrants to the territory of Greece.
Earlier, the television “Kanel 5” said thousands of migrants from Idomeni crossed the border and entered the village of Moin, where the police and army were deployed who are trying to cope with the crowds to get them back across the border.
This afternoon, the British Broadcasting Corporation, the “BBC” said hundreds of migrants are moving towards the river which is on the Greek – Macedonian border, trying to find a way through the fence along the border near Gevgelija.
