Croatia have opened their border, trucks are slowly being let through

Border crossings Bajakovo and Tovarnik are now open to traffic without any restrictions, states the Government of Croatia on their ‘Twitter’ profile on the social network.
Biljana Muratovska from the Association of Carriers “Macao-trans” confirmed that the Macedonian truckers are already crossing the border.
“Yes, I received direct information from our neighbours that slowly trucks are passing through the border. I do not know exactly how long it will take to clear the crowd because it’s a long column of vehicles, but hopefully that will not complicate the procedure and the trucks will get through tonight. The government put a lot of pressure on the basis of international treaties which Macedonia has signed with trade organizations, and fortunately all our pressure and appeals yielded results”, said Ms Muratovska.
Traffic will be closed at border crossings with Serbia: Ilok, Ilok 2, Principovac, Principovac 2, Erdut and Batina.
