Leaders of four largest political parties in the Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Gruevski (VMRO-DMNE), Zoran Zaev (SDSM), Menduh Thaci (DPA) and Ali Ahmeti (DUI), will continue the negotiations to resolve the political crisis in the country in the building “Berlaymont” the European Commission in Brussels today.
The host of the meeting was EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn. Unofficially, the negotiations will be later attended by EU Ambassador in Skopje Aivo Orav, as well as US Ambassador Jess Bailey.
The talks will begin with separate meeting of Hahn and Zaev lasting 45 minutes, which will begin at 11 am and around 12:20 pm, EU Commissioner will meet with Gruevski.
Zaev’s delegation is composed of Renata Deskoska-Trenevska and Radmila Shekerinska, while Prime Minister’s delegation is composed of Martin Protogjer, Nikola Popovski and Nikola Todorov.
About 1 pm, it is expected political leaders, along with Hahn, MEP Ivo Vajgl and ambassadors Orav and Bailey, to sit down and resolve the major issues regarding the political crisis.
