EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn will arrive tomorrow in Skopje, accompanied by three MEPs, Edward Kukan, Richard Howitt and Ivo Vajgl, confirmed EU Commissioner’s spokeswoman Maja Kocijanchik for META.
– Yes, Hahn will arrive accompanied by the three MEPs – said Kocijanchik.
Hahn’s spokeswoman, however, did not specify whether the EU Commissioner and MEPs will have a leadership meeting or will have separate meetings with the leaders of VMRO-DPMNE, SDSM, DUI and DPA.
– It is unclear what will be the format of the meetings, but it is clear what is the purpose – said Kocijanchik.
Hahn, along with the three MEPs, will try to revive talks that were deadlocked because of the inability of SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE to reach an agreement on a transitional government that would organize elections.
