Gruevski will soon receive a court order as the verdict has reached from the Appellate Court to the Criminal Court

The Basic Court 1, also known as a Criminal court, announced today that it received the second-degree verdict from the Appellate Court Skopje regarding the Tank case i.e. the purchase of a Mercedez in the amount of almost 600.000 euros.

The court states that the Appellate Court’s verdict will be sent for a further procedure at a judge for sanctions who in the forthcoming period will have to prepare a document and to send it to the concerned parties indicted with the verdict.

With this verdict, the Appellate Court dismissed Nikola Gruevski’s appeal and it confirmed the two-year prison sentence, and it reduced the verdict of the firstly accused, the former assistant minister at MoI, Gjoko Popovski and it reduced his prison sentence from 6 and a half years to four and a half years.
