Gruevski: We didn’t accept technical or transitional government in Brussels

-

“We didn’t accept technical government, transitional government or something like that in Brussels, and what happened were different ideas of the people who tried to help us, which Mr. Zaev refused from first to last,” said Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski today, commenting on the negotiations in Brussels on 10th of June, which he assessed as unsuccessful, blaming opposition leader Zoran Zaev for that.

– I did not comment on most of the proposals because he refused them and I cannot refuse or accept something that has already been rejected. In the end, everything was reduced to a single proposal which I refused. I hope that the talks will continue one way or another – Gruevski said during today’s visit to Resen.

He noted that VMRO – DPMNE is ready for elections at any time.

– Would SDSM like to hold the elections now, i.e. in late July, because it is legal to have at least 45 days to organize elections, or, if they wish, in August, September, November or April next year? We believe in what we do and believe that citizens respect, appreciate, follow and that we will again receive the overwhelming majority of support from the citizens of Macedonia – said Gruevski.
