Gruevski: Easter is a holiday that conveys a message of love and mutual respect

-

Allow me with great joy in my own behalf and on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, to you, members of the Synod and all Orthodox believers in Macedonia and the diaspora, to congratulate the great Christian holiday – Easter, sincerely wishing you happy blessed holidays, reads the greeting that Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski sent to all Orthodox believers on the occasion of Easter.

– Easter is the day when we celebrate Christ’s sacrifice for man’s salvation, it is a holiday of love, respect for life and faith in salvation. Easter is deeply rooted in our Orthodox tradition among Orthodox citizens who celebrate this day with great joy and respect. Easter is a holiday that carries a universal message and civilization of love and mutual respect, understanding and coexistence. Everyone goes through moments of temptation, our challenge is to find the strength within ourselves to rise above the challenges of the body and the mind and will of God to choose the right path, the path of respect, of loving, helping each other and not his sin or evil to challenge each other. By receiving the word of God in our hearts, we give peace and tranquility to the soul. United around these values, we should walk forward together to contribute to the progress and development of our mutual country of Macedonia – reads Gruevski’s greeting.
