The former Prime Minister and party leader of VMRo-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, after the postponement of the hearing in the case of “Trajectory” said that with the detention for the 6 MPs “a direct attack on the democracy” has happened.
He sent an appeal to the prosecutin, the court and especially to SDSM which, as he said, has put everthing under its control, not to do that because it will drive the democracy to ruin.
-This is a precedent. This is a regime. This is a direct attack on the democracy. The party that 6 months ago continuously spoke the word “regime” is now implementing a regime and is destroying the democracy. This hasn’t happened even in 1949. The people are kept 16 hours handcuffed and are detained for nothing – said Gruevski.
