Yesterday evening, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, submitted an irrevolcable resignation to the party’s Central Committee.
At the Central Committee’s meeting, 100 members voted to hold an urgent Congress where they would elect a new party president, there was one against and ten abstentions.
The VMRO-DPMNE General Secretary, Hristijan Mickoski later explained, that congress will be held on December 22nd and 23rd in Valandovo.
