Gruevski’s Government has spent 130 million euros for advertising, promoters and “road shows”

The previous Government spent more than 31million euros from the state budget for advertising the country’s business potentials in foreign media, Government Spokesman Mile Bosnjakovski said at a press conference today.

At the press conference, Bosnjakovski published information about the amount regarding the budget that the previous Government had spent attracting foreign investments in the country.

The Government Spokesman said that over 130 million euros were spent.

Besides the cost for advertising in foreign media, the previous Government led by VMRO-DPMNE with former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski spent 12.5 million euros for attracting foreign investments in the domestic media. For so called “Road Show” was spent 5.6 million euros, and the economic promoters cost the citizens and the state 12.5 million euros.

“As additional income, rents, leases and other, 2.8 million euros out of the gross monthly salary were paid to ministers without portfolio in charge for foreign investments”, the Government stated.

Two days ago, at a press conference, Government announced that 225 million euros were spent on the entry for 25 foreign companies, which created 20.000 jobs.
