Gruevski chooses fourth constituency to run against Zaev

The VMRO-DPMNE leader, Nikola Gruevski, tonight through his official “Facebook” profile announced that the general election battle against SDSM leader, Zoran Zaev will take place in the fourth constituency. He further stated that on December 11, together with the people, they will face Zaev with reality.

The ruling VMRO-DPMNE, a few moment ago submitted to the SEC their lists of MP candidates for the early parliamentary elections, scheduled for December 11, less than an hour before the expiry of the deadline for submitting lists.

According to the published lists, Nikola Poposki from the VMRO-DPMNE will lead the list in the first constituency and will be competing against Stevo Pendarovski from the SDSM, Ivon Velickovski from the Liberal Party (LP), Dimitar Apasiev from the Levica party, Artan Grubi from DUI, Idriz Orana from DPA, Pavle Trajanov, who heads the list for the Coalition for Change and Justice or otherwise known as the Citizens Coalition, Dan Donchev who is the lead candidate of the Coalition “VMRO for Macedonia”, as well as Zekirija Ibrahimi from the NDP and Besa.

In the second constituency, Nikola Todorov (VMRO-DPMNE) is up against against Oliver Spasovski (SDSM), Jove Kekenovski (Coalition for Change and Justice), Ljupco Balkovski (Coalition “VMRO for Macedonia”) Kire Buzliev (LP), Trajce Stojanov (Levica) Ejup Halimi (DUI), Orhan Ibraimi (DPA) and Afrim Gashi (NDP and Besa).

In the third constituency, Ilija Dimovski is the trump card for the Coalition for a Better Macedonia, and is up against Ljupco Nikolovski from the SDSM, Danco Markovski from the Liberal Party (LP), Marija Jones from the Levica party, Nafi Durmishi from DUI, Samir Rushiti from DPA, Vesna Stojmenovka from the Coalition for Change and Justice and Stojanche Angelov from the Coalition “VMRO for Macedonia”.

In the fourth constituency, along with Nikola Gruevski, the SDSM leader, Zoran Zaev is the first candidate on the list from his party. The two leaders will be up against Danica Jovanova from the Liberal Party, Dimitar Nikolov from the Levica party, Artin Spahiu from DUI, Slobodan Bogoevski from the Coalition for Change and Justice, Ljubco Georgievski from the Coalition “VMRO for Macedonia” and Janko Bacev of the People’s Movement for Macedonia. Bacev was previously announced as the winner of the second constituency, however, they decided to make changes to match the strength of candidates such as Zaev, Gruevski and Georgievski.

In the fifth constituency, Antonio Milososki from the Coalition for a Better Macedonia will be challenged by Radmila Sekerinska from SDSM, Alexander Delov from the Coalition for Change and Justice, Ljube Boskoski from the Coalition “VMRO for Macedonia”, Kice Mickovski from the Liberal Party, Zdravko Saveski from the Levica party, Agim Shakiri from DUI, Adrijan Useini from the DPA and Arben Labenishti from the NDP and Besa.
For the sixth and last constituency, the Coalition for a Better Macedonia chose Vlatko Gjorchev, and his opponents are Petre Shilegov from the SDSM, Branko Majstorovski from the Liberal Party, Bilal Kasami from the NDP and Besa, as well as the leaders of the two main Albanian parties, Ali Ahmeti from DUI and Menduh Thaci from DPA.

VMRO-DPMNE announced that in the seventh constituency, namely the Diaspora, the winner of their list is Ramazan Miftaroski who is originally from Mogorce, Debar.

Before submitting the lists to the SEC, Ilija Dimovski announced tonight, “Our candidate for the seventh constituency is Ramazan Miftaroski from Venice, who is originally from Mogorce, Debar.
